Refund Policy

MyEventGateway understands the significance of a clean platform where participants and organizers have full disclosure of the terms of their purchase. By accepting these terms, you agree to Refund Policy requirements without modification and enter into a binding contract with us, which will be applicable when and if you use the Services to create, and/or collect sales proceeds for a Paid Event or Free Event.

Refund Process –

Organizers, kindly note that we follow a strict no refund policy. Hence, all charges already paid to us towards event creation or any other service shall not be refunded.

For the benefit of registrants, the Organizer needs to state a refund policy clearly on the event page. If a participant seeks refund, she/he should contact the organizer directly at the Organizer contact details shared.

Channel Technologies Pvt. Ltd. is not liable to refund any monies collected on behalf of organizers.

Minimum Refund Policy Requirements –

Refund policies vary depending on the Organizer. Hence, organizers can post/upload their own policies with respect to their events, so long as the below given criteria are met:

  • Refund policies must be stated on the applicable event page;
  • Refund policies (including “no refund” policies) must process refund or make good for complete failure , example, if an event gets cancelled;
  • Policies must include specific instructions on how to obtain a refund, including how, when and where to raise a refund request;
  • Policies must also include information on how much of the amount will be refunded in case of the participant cancelling his seat, depending on the number of days left for the event. In such a case, it should be stated by the Organizer, that charges withheld by us towards our service and the payment gateway service shall be non-refundable;
  • In case of refund for an exhibitor stall(s), it should be again stated by the Organizer that all charges towards the services rendered by us and the payment gateway shall be non-refundable;
  • Refund policies must mention a specific time as to when will the requests be responded to. The first response should not exceed 5 business days.
